|Post subject:||GP Referral|
I have finally managed to get a referral to a NAPS recommended PMS specialist privately, my GP refused to do it through the NHS as she didn't know who these "NAPs people" were!
The letter basically says i am a hypochondriac, with unexplained symptoms so its unlikely the my insurance company will pay, which is a huge problem although currently i am willing to remortgage.
I really have no fight left, they wont listen to me, don't believe my symptoms and i dont know what to do.
Can i ask for another referral to be written, please advise.

Many thanks for the gentle reminder by PMThater. We have edited some of the posts slightly so as to conform with the rules. As is stated there are very good reasons to avoid naming specialists – please refer to Forum Rules and statement on the NAPS Home Page.
