Hi, I am just wondering if anyone has had this combo and whether it worked and was good/bad?

I have read that Livial can be good for women who have problems with progesterone so I am very interested in asking about it myself.

Thanks for reading.

Hi, For me personally, Livial was horrendous! Everyone is different though. I LOVED Zoladex but detested Livial and have NOTHING good to say about it. Sorry. x

Hi pmdd survivor

Thanks so much for the feedback.

It was a toss up between that or trying just oestrogen gel for 3 months with ultrogesten every 3 months. Maybe I should try that first as at least I will have some respite from progesterone to find out for definite that it's that that's the problem.

It's interesting that there's lots of papers that say it's a good alternative for women with progesterone intolerance...it's never that straight forward is it?! :-)

Never! If you have the other option, then it may be better to try it first. At least that way, like you say, you'll have some prog free days. Good luck with whatever you go with. x

Thanks Pmdd survivor.

I have just typed up a message and lost the lot!

Yes I think I will definitely do that as I think progesterone is the problem. I feel better today funnily enough and I think that's because I have just taken the last pill of the second month of Qlaira and the last two pills are oestrogen only!

Would you agree that there is no point me starting the third month of Qlaira if I am having Zoladex on 15 Dec i.e. not take anything for the next couple of weeks. Qlaira is not suiting me anyway so seems pointless as I will be stopping it with the jab and starting oestrogen gel. Maybe I am answering my own question here! :-)

Thanks again x
