Post subject:  I've been told I have 'low fertility,'

Hi All,

Wondered if anyone can help. My specialist is currently treating me for severe PMS with Oestrogel (4 times daily) Testid (every other day) and Utrogestan 7 days per month. Its not too bad a treatment and im hopeful I can stay on it but I have been given the option of going onto the GNRH analogue, Zoladex.

As I'm 26 - I wanted to make sure this treatment wasn't affecting my fertility - the specialist has now come back and said I do have low fertility and the only way to check if this is the treatment is too gradually stop it for 6-12 months and test again.

Does anyone know if my PMT treat would give me lower fertility? Thats fine if it is - my concern is if its not or it doesn't improve once I do decide to start a family.

What tests did they do to determine your fertility? I suspect it was hormone tests? Obviously being on a hormonal treatment will skew these results so I'm not sure how they can be so sure? Jx

I should have replied sooner to this, it was hormone/blood tests that suggested a low fertility but my wonderful doctor told me to come back for a scan to be sure (as it might have just been the pms treatment I am on) and thankfully it was all healthy and normal :)
